The Rainforest Conservatory immerses visitors in a lush rainforest experience. This indoor tropical garden’s takes guests on a meandering journey alongside a rippling stream, behind a waterfall, and between lush plants including orchids, begonias, coconut palms, and cacao trees.

Highlights

The Rainforest Conservatory supports the Garden’s mission of educating the public on plant conservation and the importance of tropical ecosystems while offering a glimpse of an exotic paradise. The Conservatory features plants that contribute to many of our everyday foods, herbs, spices, and beverages, including seven varieties of ginger, a chocolate tree, a coffee tree, a star fruit tree, and a coconut palm.

  • Features a portion of the Garden’s nationally recognized Begonia collection
  • You’ll even find a plant that eats bugs in the Rainforest Conservatory!
